I really would prefer medical assistant or medical biller more than i would cna, but it seems as though jobs for MA’s and Medical Biller’s are very limited. It seems as though they are not either hiring for these jobs or they want you to have 2 or 3 years experience first before they will even give you a chance. So i feel like cna is my only other option. I really don’t want to do cna work but i feel as though i have no other choice because i can’t seem to find employment any place else. What should i do.

I mean are the differences in their duty in a medical setting? Beside one assisting a nurse and the other doctor or physician. With 6 months or less of training for both, what are their duties?

I am certified Admistrative. Need assistance obtaining employment. I live in Santa Clarita Califonia. I would like to become certified in clinical and work with the baby boomer population. I prefer to work very close to home. Interested in anti-aging/wellness
I have worked for many years as a CNA but went to school to further my options, The school I went to did not offer phlebotomy. I am much more people oriented than paperwork. I was until very recently working as an Instructional assistant at a high school working with teens with emotional problems. I would like very much to use my training but find it difficult because I do not have X-ray or phlebotomy. Any ideas out there? Thanks!
I am certified in Administrative Medical Assisting thru the school I attended and also the state of california.
