Is anyone in the Medical Billing and Coding field?

I’m debating on doing either Medical Assistant or Medical Billing and Coding, but i can’t seem to decide. I’m pretty sure i’m going to go with Medical Billing and Coding. Does anyone have this job? Can you tell me about it from experience? Your salary if you don’t mind? Anything else i should know? I already know how much schooling it takes.
Oh and which makes more money yearly? Medical Billing and Coding or Medical Assistants?

I can’t tell you who makes more, but I am a CPC, and I love it. I’m also going back to take more schooling to get my CCS. I’ve been doing this for over a year now, and I have yet to have a boring day. There’s always something new to learn, or some new accident that makes you go “WHAT?!?” lol

Your pay scale is based on where you live. I could tell you I make such and such, and it could be totally opposite of what you would get. Right now I’m getting by without stressing though!
