Did i get screwed in this job offer as Medical Assistant?
HOPE FOR THE BEDDER asked:
I make 12.17 in my current job as Education Support Specialist. Was offered job starting pay 11.50 then i have to do training on ultrasounds for 3 months then take a test and IF i pass the test i will be getting paid 12.50

Im in the southwestern part of VA
i ended up accepting but i wonder did i get screwed on this?

if you like the work then you did ok , and you get a better education , plus , plus
The training is good…it gives u exerience. the increase of pay isn’t much but if you love what you’re doing that shouldn’t be such a big issue…But Honestly I know medcial assistants who make more than 12.50…I was a hostess and I made 13.78 but it also depends on the company you’re working for.
